It is Not a Moleskine

I know that it is hard to believe, but I am trying others sketchbooks. I have to be clear that I still love Moleskine's notebooks. However, it is always interesting to try something different.

The drawings are objects that I saw in a design exhibition in Mexico City in February.

The first object in the right is a silver and obsidian broach.

the red one is a broach too. It was made by Diego Rivera. It is a watercolor painting with some kind of stones around.

The drawing in the right is a lamp design Hector Aguillar.

Se que es dificil de creelo, pero no estoy usando un diario Moleskine. Solo para aclarar, me sigue encantado Moleskine, solo que pensé que sería buena idea probar algo nuevo.

I have abandoned my Moleskine for so long, but what can be better that a day with frozen yogurt with blueberries, chocolate and some drawing.

Fish Flying Over My Head

Sometimes I have unforgettable dreams. One of those nights I dreamt about transparent fish flying all over my home town. It was such a vivid feeling that even now I still remember the strong sensation of looking at them. Dreams always bring me something: a message, a prediction or a warning. This particular dream brought me hope to pass through some difficult times.

What an incredible and powerful dream!

Algunas veces tengo sueños inolvidables. Una de esas noches soñé con peces transparentes volando sobre la ciudad. Verlos me provocó una impresión tan fuerte que aún hoy puedo recordar con mucha vivacidad esas imágenes. Siempre he creído que mis sueños traen mensajes o predicciones y ése en particular me brindó esperanza y ayuda durante tiempos difíciles en mi vida.

New Member of the Bestiario Book

There has been really unusual weather in Los Angeles. Rainy days, long and gray rainy days. I am not used to this kind of weather.

The rain keeps me inside the house more time that I would like. However, it is not all bad; I am using my time at home to catch up with my drawing. Recently my dear Moleskines have been a little abandoned.

Hemos tenido un clima no muy común en Los Angeles. Días lluviosos, largos y grises días lluviosos. Siendo sincera, no estoy acostumbrada a este tipo de clima.

La lluvia me ha mantenido en casa por más tiempo del que me gustaría. Sin embargo, no es totalmente malo; mi tiempo en casa lo uso para dibujar un poco. Ya que recientemente mis queridos moleskines habían estado un poco abandonados.

A Dream

Once I had a dream where I was walking over the ocean on the way to a big and leafy orange tree.

Peace and happiness were the things that I felt. It was overwhelming. I wish I could draw what I saw in that dream.

Alguna vez soñé que caminaba sobre el mar hacia un frondoso naranjo. La paz y felicidad que sentía llenaban todos mis sentidos. Cuanto me gustaría poder dibujar lo que ví en ese sueño.
