Lisbon, Portugal (part II)

Photo 1.- Lisbon is covered with murals and/or graffiti everywhere. But usually it has a message or a political opinion.

Photo 2.- Their desserts are just unthinkably delicious.
Photo 2.- Sus postres son inimaginablemente deliciosos.

Lisbon, Portugal (part I)

If I had to say which city was my favorite...
Lisbon was my favorite.
I fell in love with Lisbon.
I love the light, the mysterious beauty of the city,
the delicious food, the fantastic desserts, and the friendly people.

Salamanca, Spain

Salamanca was magic.
My whole experience in Salamanca was wonderful.

The old buildings made me think that I traveled not just to a different country,
 but to a different time.
Too many reminiscences of medieval times, roman times, so much human history preserved.

And I had fun too... Here I am with new friends trying to do some huge soap bubbles.
Salamanca was great!!!

Pasado medieval, romano... Tanta historia humana
acumulada en cada uno de sus rincones.

MADRID ME MATA!!!

Madrid me mata!!

That's what I thought when I realized that I was in the city that has Guernica, The Garden of Earthly Delights, Deposition by Roger Van Der Weyden, and many other art pieces.

Yes. Madrid kills me... with its art, culture, arquitecture, and interesting food.

The recounting of the trip!

Between museums and old cities full of history I spent my vacation time in Spain. It was great. Our goals were to see Picasso's Guernica in Madrid, The Prado Museum (in Madrid, also), to visit Lisbon, Portugal, and to see as many buildings from Gaudí in Barcelona as possible. And we did it. We saw and visited all the things that we planned and along the way we enjoyed so much more.

Day One:
Flying over the Atlantic, I dreamt about a high-wire walker.  Later he became the protagonist of the trip in Spain.
