Some people say that you are what you eat, others think that you are what you do. I think that both have some partial truth in them. We are a mix of everything around and inside us. However, some people love so much what they do that they became what they do.

Marian Bantjes and Si Scott are some of those people. Their work is so mesmerizing that I can feel the beauty of their souls throughout their work.

I was lucky to have the opportunity to have attended lectures of the two of them. I saw Marian Bantjes a couple of months ago and Si Scott yesterday.

For those who don't know who Bantjes and Scott are, they are called designers, graphic artists, or illustrators. But I call them artists because their work is more art than a design, or better yet, their art is used as a very gorgeous design. Their creative work is used in a commercial way, such as logos, illustrations for a product, or a commercial image in the most successful way. I am almost sure that many people have seen their work even without knowing the name of their creators.

At the end of the day, I just wanted to share with everyone all the inspiration from these two fabulous artists.

Algunas personas piensan que eres lo que comes, otros piensan que eres lo que haces. Pero yo creo que somos el resultado de todo lo que nos rodea, lo que pensamos y lo que sentimos. Sin embargo, algunas personas aman tanto lo que hacen que en su trabajo reflejan lo que son. Si Scott y Marian Bantjes son de esas personas de las que su hermoso trabajo refleja su alma.

Afortunadamente tuve la oportunidad de atender las presentaciones de esos dos creadores. Pude ver a Marian Bantjes hace un par de meses y ayer a Si Scott.

Para aquellos que no conocen a estos dos personajes, podríamos llamarlos diseñadores, artistas gráficos o ilustradores. Yo los llamo artistas porque su trabajo es mas arte que diseño. O mejor aún, su arte es usado como hermoso y exitoso diseño. Sus creaciones son usadas de muchas maneras. Algunas veces su trabajos es visto como logotipos, otras como ilustraciones y muchas otras veces como imágenes comerciales. Estoy casi segura que mucha personas en el mundo han visto y apreciado su trabajo sin siquira saber el nombre de sus creadores.

Al final del día, sólo quería compartir con todos la inspiración recibida de estos dos artistas.
