Last weekend my favorite cousin and I went to the Huntington Library in San Marino, California. The place is just incredible. One day is not enough to see it all. Between the gardens and the art collection you could spend a whole week. But we didn't have a week so we used our limited time there as wisely as possible. We saw the Chinese and Japanese gardens, we enjoyed the grand manner portrait collection--including Blue Boy by Thomas Gainsbough--and we had lunch in one of the lovely places there.
It was a perfect day!

El fin de semana pasado mi prima favorita y yo visitamos The Huntington Library en San Marino, California. El lugar es increíble. Un solo día no es suficiente para verlo todo. Entre jardines y colecciones de arte se podría pasar al menos toda una semana. Pero como nosotras no teníamos todo ese tiempo, tratamos de utilizarlo tan sabiamente como pudimos. Vimos los jardines chino y japonés, disfrutamos la colección de pinturas del estilo "grand manner" que incluye "Blue Boy" de Thomas Gainsbough y finalmente tuvimos un pequeño lunch ahí.
Fue un día perfecto!
