Beauty from the Walls

In my last trip to Mexico City, I took some pictures of the walls. So many  details that nobody notices at first, but if you pay attention you'll see that those little details make the beauty of the place.

I hope you find them as inspiring as I did.

En mi más reciente viaje a la Ciudad de México, tome algunas fotos de paredes. Muchos detalles en esos lugares que nadie nota al principio, pero si prestas atención verás que son los causantes de la belleza del lugar.

te vi nadar a ritmo de mar.

Te vi volar en incontrolables aguas que no pueden parar.

Te vi pasar, mirando siempre hacia donde no puedes llegar.

Female Dragon

A long time ago, a teacher asked what animal I would like to be. After thinking for a while I told her that I would like to be a dragon. At that time I didn't know that my desire could come true. To my joy and surprise, my chinese zodiac symbol is the dragon. What a happy discovery. 

By the way, I forgot to add wings to this dragon. In another drawing I'll include them.

Hace mucho tiempo, una maestra me preguntó ...Qué animal me gustaría ser?Después de pensarlo un rato respondí que me gustaría ser un dragón. En ese momento no sabía que mi deseo  podr&iaacute; ser realidad. Para mi sorpresa y alegría, mi signo zodiacal chino es Dragón. Este ha sido un muy feliz  descubrimiento.

por cierto, se me olvidó ponerle alas a este dibujo. En otra illustración incluiré  alas muy grandes.

Seahorse

Last Friday, I went to see a silver jewelry exhibition from Taxco, Mexico. It was wonderful. Most of the works were from Antonio Pineda, but I saw other artists' designs too. I made a sketch of one of the things that I wanted to remember. A seahorse brooch by Salvador Teran.
